Ocean Freight Update for the Start of 2024
In reviewing the trends of 2023, we have observed a decline in the demand for ocean freight coupled with an increase in capacity. This trend is anticipated to continue into the first half of 2024. We are pleased to share that the balance between supply and demand for ocean freight has allowed us to maintain regular transit times and container dwell times at port. We anticipate that these schedules will remain within normal operating timelines for the beginning months of 2024.
WBE Canada National Conference
Our team had the privilege of attending the WBE Canada National Conference in November. The event served as a dynamic platform for fostering connections with fellow women-owned businesses and engaging with corporate sponsors.
At the heart of the conference were discussions about the vital role of supplier diversity within supply chains. We actively participated in conversations about the significance of diverse suppliers in driving innovation and sustainability.
