El PI-BDK es el Fotoiniciador Benzil-Dimetil-Cetal. Es un fotoiniciador altamente efectivo que se utiliza para iniciar la fotopolimerización de poliésteres insaturados o acrilatos.
Se utiliza en aplicaciones curables con UV, como: rellenos basados en poliésteres insaturados/estirenos y capas superiores, acrilatos para tintas y recubrimientos y placas de impresión y foto reveladores.
